National Wildlife Federation Congratulates President-Elect Biden, Pledges to Help to Bridge Partisan Divide, Solve Crises Facing People, Wildlife

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The National Wildlife Federation pledged to work with President-elect Joe Biden, Vice President-elect Kamala Harris, and the state, federal, and local officials elected and re-elected to find bold, bipartisan solutions to the challenges facing people and wildlife alike.

“At a time when wildlife and people are facing unprecedented environmental and public health challenges, Americans embraced Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' vision and bold solutions for confronting the climate crisis, recovering America’s wildlife, addressing environmental injustices, restoring our public lands and waters, and safeguarding our outdoor heritage,” said Collin O’Mara, president and CEO of the National Wildlife Federation. “We stand ready to help the president-elect and vice president-elect address the four historic crises by beating the COVID-19 pandemic, putting millions of Americans back to work restoring our infrastructure and natural resources, acting on climate change, and addressing racial injustice. We look forward to working with the president-elect and all of the newly elected and re-elected officials to bridge the partisan divide and pursue solutions that match the magnitude of the challenges we face.”
