Jack-o'-Lantern Quesadillas

Make this smiling, cheesy Jack-o'-Lantern for Halloween.

  • Grated Monterey Jack or cheddar cheese
  • Refried beans
  • 2 tortillas
Cover Tortilla with Beans and Cheese

Spread a layer of refried beans onto a tortilla, leaving a 1/2 inch border around the edge. Cover the beans with a layer of grated cheese.

Cut Jack-o'-Lantern Face in Second Tortilla

Have an adult use a knife to cut a jack-o'-lantern face in the other tortilla. Lay the finished face on top of the first tortilla.

Bake Quesadilla

Bake in a 350°F oven for about 10 minutes or until the cheese melts.

 

Makes one quesadilla that serves two or three.
