Pledge Summary

Moorpark is a City in Southern California with a population of approximately 36,000. The City was named after the Moorpark apricot tree and encompasses 12.4 square miles in eastern Ventura County. Moorpark is located directly southwest of the Santa Susanna Mountains and takes pride in its eighteen beautiful parks, walking trails, natural open space areas, its historical Pepper Tree Grove, and the management of the City's urban forest. Mayor Enegren has committed to saving the monarch butterfly and other pollinators by signing the Mayor's Monarch Pledge and looks forward to engaging the community to preserve and expand pollinator habitat in the City.

  • Integrate monarch butterfly conservation into the city’s Park Master Plan, Sustainability Plan, Climate Resiliency Plan or other city plans.
