Township of West Orange

West Orange, NJ

Susan McCartney

Mayor

Pledge Summary

West Orange is an energetic, culturally diverse, innovative community that is welcoming, appreciative of its businesses and its 49,000 residents. West Orange is home to the Thomas Edison National Historical Park situated on our Main Street. While we are proud of our history, our future is looking even more impressive. As the newly elected Mayor, I am proud of our Township employees and the dozens of community volunteers who serve on our many local boards and commissions. Partnerships and collaborations help engage our residents in health & wellness programs and environmentally friendly preservation and conservation projects, such as the annual Earth Hour Launch and a successful town-wide milkweed campaign to repopulate the Monarch.
