City of Weston

Weston, FL

Margaret Brown

Mayor

Pledge Summary

Weston, as the westernmost city in Broward County, backs up against the Everglades, making environmental stewardship one of our greatest responsibilities. We've taken on the task of promoting "Florida-friendly landscaping" by sharing valuable local resources and guides in our community. We're also working towards certification as a National Wildlife Foundation Community Wildlife Habitat. As part of our efforts, we sponsored the registration of over a dozen local homes as Certified Wildlife Habitats - recognizing their use of pollinator-supporting plants.
