The editors of National Wildlife magazine want to thank the thousands of photographers who entered images in our 46th annual photo contest. We greatly appreciate your time and effort, and we are enjoying reviewing your beautiful work.
Because of the high volume of entries, it will take some time to select the grand prize winner and first- and second-place winners in each of our seven categories. All winners will be notified by or before October 2, 2017. (For more information, see Rules.)
A selection of the winning photographs and honorable mentions will be published in the December-January 2018 issue of National Wildlife magazine, which comes out in mid-November 2017. All winning images will be published on the magazine’s website.
Each and every person who entered photographs in this year’s contest not only honored their own work but also helped support the conservation mission of the National Wildlife Federation, which is dedicated to saving wildlife species and their habitats. The entire Federation thanks you.
You can further support this mission by becoming a member of the National Wildlife Federation, which entitles you to receive National Wildlife magazine as a benefit of membership. For more information on how to join and get the magazine, click here.
Thank you again for participating in our 46th annual photo contest. We hope to see you all again next year!
