For many years, the National Wildlife Federation and the National Garden Club, Inc. have worked together. Gardening for wildlife in a variety of states, including launching efforts of Community Wildlife Habitats. In 2015 our two organizations agreed to work strategically in creating more gardens for wildlife and support NGC’s Bee a Wildlife Action Hero initiative. Here are three ways NGC is encouraging its members involved:
We encourage NGC members to recognize their commitment to wildlife by providing and maintaining the basic elements for a healthy habitat on your property: Food, Water, Cover, Places to Raise Young, and Sustainable Gardening Practices.
The application will ask if you have minimum number of requirements for each element above.
