Grant Opportunities

Nature Smart Libraries Initiative

Early Childhood Heath Outdoors (ECHO) seeks to partner with a public library to create a healthy and engaging outdoor space that meets the needs of the community and provides opportunities for play for young children and their families. The selected library will receive professional design assistance and $10,000 in implementation funding, as well as site activation and family engagement support to plan their outdoor space. Funding is also available to support staff time/salary for library professionals to participate, and to support community members’ time to participate in community engagement activities (all virtual at this time). This funding is limited to supporting a single library in the Denver Metro area.
