Debbie Mitchell is a connector of people and opportunities, and used those talents as the foundation of her career. She believes that focusing on your innate gifts and finding work that lights you up inside is the best way to make a living while thriving. Debbie has found that individual success and fulfillment have less to do with the digits in your pay check, and everything to do with pursuing what brings out the very best in you.
With over two decades of experience in Human Resources, she has held senior and executive level positions in many organizations including Horseshoe Casinos, The American Red Cross, and the Dallas Cowboys Football Club. From EdTech to MedTech, hospitality to non-profits, her passion remains understanding and deploying the strengths in people.
Debbie founded Recent Grad Launch Pad, a coaching and human capital practice that works with young people at all stages of the education and employment continuum, helping them find meaningful work that they love.
A proud member of “Nerd Nation”, Debbie is a graduate of Stanford University in Palo Alto, California. At Stanford she majored in Urban Studies with a focus in Organizational Behavior. She also has earned a Masters of Science in Communication from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL.
Her volunteer service includes board positions with the Stanford Alumni Association, Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Indiana, and Camp Fire Boys and Girls of Dallas, and volunteer work as a member of the Junior League of Dallas, at the Shelton School and the Global Good Fund in Washington, DC. Her favorite gig, however, is as mom to daughter Victoria.
