Jacob Carter is the Associate Vice President of the Environmental Justice, Health, and Community Resilience and Revitalization Programs at NWF. His work focuses on advancing environmental justice by supporting community leadership, building meaningful partnerships, and helping connect underserved communities with the resources, tools, and opportunities needed to shape decisions that affect them.
He holds a Ph.D. in ecology and evolutionary biology and has extensive experience working to advance environmental justice, defending federal science, strengthening scientific integrity, and promoting the use of evidence in public decision-making.
