Libby Johnson leads NWF’s growing efforts to engage and inspire the public and future generations to recover wildlife, protect clean air and water, address environmental injustices, and confront the climate crisis.
She previously served as NWF’s senior director of program operations and as associate director of the organization’s Northeast region. She also has worked in higher education, serving as managing director of development at VTDigger as well as a member of the executive leadership team at Vermont College of Fine Arts.
NWF inspires families, schools, teachers, and youth across the country to recover wildlife, conserve habitat, address the impacts of the climate crisis, and build and support thriving communities. NWF’s education team works to provide youth with environmental literacy opportunities that foster leadership, inclusivity, and collaboration. NWF also is a national leader in working with communities to create habitat, plant native species, and make it easier for people to get outdoors and safely access nature.
