Join us in our annual celebration of National Wildlife Week! Every spring young people across the nation get the chance to learn more about a wide range of animals native to North America, their habitats, and programs that help wildlife.
The National Wildlife Federation has a rich history with National Wildlife Week. Our longest-running education program, National Wildlife Week is designed to connect budding conservationists of all ages to the awesome wonders of wildlife. Each year we pick a theme and provide fun educational materials and activities for educators and caregivers to use with kids.
As we celebrate National Wildlife Week and the members who support our work, we take a look at some key iconic species. Whether they make their homes on the plains, in the mountains, or in our backyards, these fascinating species are being supported by our members in various ways every day.
