Washington, D.C. — New legislation from Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-Pa.) and co-sponsored by Reps. Salud Carbajal (D-Calif.) and Scott Peters (D-Calif.) would reduce carbon emissions while investing in innovative clean energy and storage technologies, climate preparedness, and carbon removal strategies. The bill, which has bipartisan support, comes at a time when Americans have called for urgent action on climate change and strategies to protect our people, land, air, water, and wildlife.
