Busch Gardens and NWF partner to help homeowners garden for wildlife
Following the lead of its sister parks in Florida, Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Virginia, recently joined forces with NWF to help homeowners create space for wildlife in their backyards. Landscapers at Busch Gardens built a habitat garden that provides animals with food, water, shelter and places to raise their young. Signs throughout the garden--NWF's 79,000th certified wildlife habitat--offer tips to visitors about providing these necessities at home.A new storymap connects the dots between extreme weather and climate change and illustrates the harm these disasters inflict on communities and wildlife.
