Jessica Koelsch is thrilled to join NWF with two decades of experience working for marine-based non-profits, specializing in marine wildlife conservation, research, and education in Florida.
She has engaged in a range of conservation- and stewardship-driven research projects, such as monitoring manatees, organizing the annual Right Whale Festival, and promoting stewardship of sea turtles and their nesting beaches. She conducted science-based advocacy for marine wildlife, including manatees, sea turtles, right whales, and other marine mammals. Leveraging her strong professional relationships, Jessica has served on multiple stakeholder groups, and works closely with other NGO’s as well local, state, and federal agencies on marine wildlife conservation and management issues, especially at the regional level. She currently lives in Pensacola, FL.
